Residential Wild Fire Awareness Meeting & A Fall Beauty

Image
Callicarpa Americana Purple Beautyberry makes quite a show in the fall garden with its brilliant purple berries. The beauty berry is a hardy shrub that can grow in sun or shade, wet or dry. It is tagged as Birdfood. Birds love the food source it supplies when other food in late winter is no longer available. There is also a white berry form which is less common and can pair with the purple for a striking contrast. Creative Backyard Gardening Ideas

Image
This is a Clematis Vine growing in a protected patio area   What I love best about home gardening is that it allows us the opportunity to show our creativity. Folks that use the things they have on hand and re-purpose items into something beautiful and that have thoughtful design are often thinking about a better way. The following are photos I've taken of some interesting things gardeners have done in their own yards. Simple things we all can do to make a less desirable spot in our yards more interesting and desirable. Enjoy....
