End of Season To Do List

 

1. Make notes for next year, plants/gardening tasks to do again, to move, to do new, to don't do again, for future
2. Take cuttings & gather seed
3. Dig up unwanted plants, divide iris, move lilies, & shrubs
4. Cut back overgrown perennials, some shrubs, that bloom late summer
5. Pull out annuals after frost---leave grasses, crepe myrtles
6. Harvest & pull out vegetables
7. Clean up weeds & the seedlings
8. Plant fall bulbs in October
9. Add mulch & protect under perennials
10. Clean tools
11. For the October 15th Swap Meet: Collect seeds. Prep & pot perennials, house plants, shrubs. Will need containers, tools, gloves. See post dated September 18th for more details.
