MUSIC IN THE GARDEN August 4th & Meet Master Gardener #4

Reno County Master Gardeners present their final summer educational program by entertaining visitors Thursday August 4th in the Hutchinson Community College Demonstration Gardens from 6pm to 8pm . Larry and the NOTABLES will be providing some acoustic enjoyment while visitors can stroll the garden and enjoy the Prairie Star Annuals. Come to relax and be pampered for a lovely experience in the evening twilight. Pre-register at 620/662-2371. See you there!! Reno County Extension Master Gardener's at the Farmer's Market

This month's Reno County Extension Master Gardener's (RCEMG) educational booth theme at Saturday's Farmer's Market  was Backyard Composting! Master Gardeners Becky, Bob and Charles enjoyed sharing K-State Extension & Research's  "Knowledge for Life" information to a great Saturday crowd!   Many young families are interested in learning how to compost! Winner of the gardening gloves door prize , pictured here in front of their garden, are Gabriela Almonte and her daughter Scarlett! Come compete for next month's prize and join us at the RCEMG booth on the third Saturday in August.
