Residential Wild Fire Awareness Meeting & A Fall Beauty

 

Callicarpa Americana Purple Beautyberry makes quite a show in the fall garden with its brilliant purple berries. The beauty berry is a hardy shrub that can grow in sun or shade, wet or dry. It is tagged as Birdfood. Birds love the food source it supplies when other food in late winter is no longer available. There is also a white berry form which is less common and can pair with the purple for a striking contrast. Submitted by jhawk
