Iris Presentation with Master Gardener Judy Eckhoff

The Iris presentation is scheduled for our Continuing Education Moment during the General meeting, 12:00 noon, April 9^th at the RCE Office.

Wesley Towers Greenhouse Tour – April 16th
Allen Hirst has set up a tour of the new Wesley Towers greenhouse with Don Pfannenstiel, 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 16^th, at 700 Monterey Place.  Please contact Allen, 620-663-3997 by Friday, April 13^th, if you plan to attend.  Allen will have a sign-up sheet and a more detailed map to find the Greenhouse during our General meeting on Monday

Garden to Table with Maggie and Adam Pounds – April 19^th

Maggie and Adam Pounds from Simply Abundance Farm will show you ways to turn your garden produce into healthy, delicious food – including tasty dishes and even fermenting your own veggies.  Garden to Table is scheduled for 7:00 p.m., Thursday, April 19^th, Emanuel Lutheran Church, 140 E. 30^th.  Attendance is free but please pre-register by contacting the RCE Office at 620-662-2371.  Light refreshments will be served.  Kathy Petz will have more updated program details during our meeting on Monday.

Women’s Show – April 21st

We will have a booth at the Women’s Show, 9-4 p.m. on Saturday, April 21^st.  Booth set-up is 1:00 p.m., Friday, April 20^th.   Our theme this time is Herb Gardening.  We will fill in with Master Gardener/KSU general information and herb, flower and cacti/succulent container pots.  Andy Anderson, will do a cooking demonstration at 12:00 noon on Buttered Herb Chicken.
